Meet Joe Di Bari. He is a long-time Pub 518 author with several short stories in our anthologies. Joe lives in the 518 and is also a published poet, songwriter, and novelist.
"I’ve been writing for 16 years. Pen to paper was cathartic after a divorce at 55. Published many times, my latest is the first attempt at historical fiction entitled: “Beneath The Same Sky”.
“The Old Man and The Sea” has influenced Joe at an early age. Hemmingway and Poe are his favorites authors.
"Initially I did not know what to write about concerning D & D but learned quickly it was an excellent vehicle for social commentary."
Joe's short story in 'Droids & Dragon' is 'The Greatest Love Story Ever Told'. The standout excerpt from his story is,
“Lonnie feelings are dangerous. Be careful my AI 20, this place is ominous.”
Authors love books and Joe's favorite book is, 'The telephone'. "You can find anybody in there."
When asked what's his superpower, his response is, "I can make you laugh and I can make you cry."
